Bismarck senior Joe Latham won the U-S-A wrestling preseason national tournament at the University of Northern Iowa and after winning the tournament Latham committed to Northern Iowa. Joe Latham: "Feels great, I`m really glad to get that pressure off my shoulders and it`s been a dream for quit a while now." Scott Knowlen: "Joe`s the kind of kid that is a coaches dream, a college coaches dream because you don`t have to worry about him getting to class. You don`t have to worry about what he`s going to do on or off the mat. He`s a solid individual, a good citizen." Latham went 38-&-5 and won the 160-pound title last season. |
