U-Mary to Host Augustana | Video

The seniors on the U-Mary women`s basketball team made sure they would get to play at least one more game this season. Those five were the five leading scorers in Wednesday`s 22 point win over Upper Iowa.

The Peacocks had no answer for Shaunna Knife and Ali Collins. Knife had 17 in the first half and finished with 23 points. Collins added 22. Shanara Clark was the third Marauder to reach double figures, she had 14.

"We just have to understand it`s playoffs, and we have to step it up an inch from how we`ve been playing. We`ve been playing really good, and we just want to come out and give our fans a great basketball game and step it up because it is playoffs and anyone can win any night," Clark said.

U-Mary hosts Augustana tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. If the Marauders win, they will travel to Rochester next week for the conference semifinals. The Vikings won the only regular season match-up by a dozen. That game was played in Sioux Falls.
