The Capital Curling Club is hosting the Men`s & Women`s state club championships this week. Each member of a team must be from the same club, so there`s some extra bragging rights.

"You`re not just playing for fun, you`re representing your club and you like to see your clubs name on the traveling trophy that gets around the state and this is also an open event so you can have multiple entries from any one club and Bismarck`s got six teams playing on the men`s side so there`s certainly bragging rights that go with that even within your club," said Jon Mielke with the Capital Curling Club.

The competition begins tomorrow with the championships on Sunday. The winners advance to the national club championships in Illinois in March.
