But then, NDSU is 10-1 under Coach Bohl following a bye-week.
"Our team is looking forward to playing. There`s a lot on the line. I think you got two really good football teams that are getting ready to tee it up. We have not played a team as fast a turnaround as South Dakota State in the past and I`m sure they haven`t as well which is going to make it unique but it certainly makes it more exciting and our guys are ready to go," Bohl said.
It was three weeks ago when the Bison beat the Jacks 20-17. South Dakota State destroyed Eastern Illinois by 48-points in the first round and Coach Bohl says he thought it would end up that way.
"If you look at the ranking and the GPI, the strength of schedule, no it didn`t surprise me at all. I thought South Dakota State would line up and pound them and I think that`s an indication of the strength of our conference so the score didn`t surprise me and the outcome didn`t surprise me and this is who I thought we`d play."
Just like the regular season match-up, Saturday`s playoff contest will be at the Fargodome.
We can not televise the game, ESPN won`t let us, but we will bring you an hour long pre-game show on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 central time.
