Bismarck athletes dominated the state cross country meet on Saturday winning 75-percent of the races. The Demons Jake Leingang became just the second Class A runner to win three straight individual titles.

"The game plan was to go out as hard as I could and I wanted to get a fast time down so I went out fast and tried to keep that pace the whole time," he said.

Bismarck`s Brittany Brownotter is the Class A girls individual champion. This is her first title.

"There was a point in the race where one of the coaches told me that it was time to go and that`s when really thought of my teammates and that just pushed me all the way to the finish," she said.

In Class B, Donovan Lambert of Shiloh finished one spot higher, he`s the boys champion.

"There was a couple guys that went out fast and that was good for me because I`m not used to pushing the pace but it was a good pace throughout the whole race I felt good so I just pushed myself through the end," he said.

Bismarck also won both team championships, making it just the second time a school swept all four titles.
