ND to Receive $1.2 Million to Turn Around Lowest Performing Schools
The U.S. Department of Education announced today that North Dakota will receive $1.2 million to help turn around the lowest-achieving schools in the state. North Dakota is one of 10 states that will receive funding through the School Improvement Grant program.
The Department of Education says the grants are awarded to State Educational Agencies that can then make sub-grants for agencies that demonstrate the greatest need for the money.
