Humane Society Alley Cats and Dogs Bowl | Video

It was bowling cats and dogs. Yes, you heard right. Bowling, not raining. The Central Dakota Humane Society Center hosted its second annual Alley Cats and Dogs bowling fundraiser today. Fifteen teams competed for the best score and had fun dressing up as their favorite furry pet to claim the title as best dressed team. With the buy in at $100 a team, the humane society center raised $1,500.

"The Central Dakota Humane Society really tugs at a lot of people`s hearts. You know, the cats and dogs we take care of out of the shelter-- a lot of people just even if they can`t adopt one, they can take care of them in a different way and this is one way they can support the shelter," said Mandy Schaaf, volunteer coordinator of the Central Dakota Humane Society.

The money raised today will go directly to the care of animals at the Humane Society shelter.
