NDHP Responds to Over 20 Crashes in Fargo Area Tuesday

| 3/6/2013

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says that they covered over 20 vehicle crashes in the Fargo area yesterday. While most crashes were property damage or had very minor injuries, one was more severe.

The Highway Patrol says a pickup pulled out in front of a semi Tuesday afternoon on Highway 46 west of Kindred. The driver of the pickup, John Lacher, 44, from Fargo, was ejected from his vehicle. Lacher was taken to a Fargo hospital with unknown injuries. The Highway Patrol says he was not wearing his seatbelt.

The Highway Patrol says that speed, following too close and poor driving decisions were the main contributing factors to most of the crashes yesterday.
