A man wanted on a federal warrant had a lot of people on his tail this afternoon. Robert Martel, 38, was wanted for drug conspiracy charges.

A drug task force officer spotted him in south Bismarck. He then led authorities on a chase and temporarily lost them, but officers in a plane spotted him again in Mandan.

From there he headed south to the Standing Rock Reservation where B.I.A. agents took over the pursuit. Before he reached the South Dakota border, they were able to run him off the road and take him into custody.

The chase involved Bismarck and Mandan police, the Burleigh and Morton County Sheriff`s Departments, the Highway Patrol, and the B.I.A.
