Car Fire in Bismarck | Video

Jessica Roose | 2/20/2013

A fire broke out this morning near the south Perkins on Expressway in Bismarck. Crews arrived late this morning to a car on fire parked in front of the restaurant. No one was injured, but guests had to be evacuated due to smoke entering the building.

"Everybody was evacuated in place because of the fact of the cold weather we`re having today. Everybody was moved to the north side of the restaurant. The staff did a great job. So when we went in they actually locked the doors to this side, the south side so nobody could come in or out," said Captain Joey Vandervliet with the Bismarck Fire Department.

The fire is still under investigation. No word yet on how it started.
