The Morton County Emergency Manager and Communications Director is resigning effective February 28. Tammy Lapp-Harris had earlier filed a sexual harassment suit against Sheriff Dave Shipman.

She indicated in an email that in the light of a lengthy investigation to be conducted the by Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, her health and family would be better off without all of the stress.
