Westhope Man Charged With Murder

A Bottineau County man has been arrested in the killing of another man last week. The Bottineau County Sheriff says he arrested Timothy Mundt, 48, of Westhope on Friday. He is charged with shooting and killing Jessie Kirk, 40, also of Westhope, with a rifle.

Mundt`s bail is set at $500,000. He`s scheduled to return to court next week.
