South Dakota Man Dies in Car Crash

A South Dakota man died in a car accident Saturday afternoon, while riding with two other people. Adriaan Detoit, 25, of Isabel, South Dakota was not wearing a seatbelt when the driver lost control of the car on a slippery curve on Highway 31. DeToit was ejected from the car when it rolled over into a ditch, and ended against an unoccupied house.

He was transported to St. Alexius Hospital for severe head injuries, where he was later pronounced dead. The other two men in the car were wearing seatbelts, and did not have any injuries.
