Mechanics suggest driving your car frequently to make sure the car warms up and the battery doesn`t die.
"When the temperature first begins to drop, it`s a good idea to get in and get all those things inspected on the vehicle. Check the tire pressure and check the level of the coolant. Make sure it`s going to be good. Check the battery and make sure it`s going to get you through the winter that way you`re not stuck on the side of the road when it it`s negative 30 with wind chill like it is today. That`s the worst time to try to get somebody to jump start your vehicle," said Mathew Johnston from Tires Plus in Bismarck.
Tires Plus can check your tires, battery and engine coolant to make sure it is winter ready.
