War Zone to Oil Field | Video

Sarahbeth Ackerman | 1/17/2013

Last night, we told you how Clinton Romeshea of Minot is being awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor and is now raising his family in Minot. We wanted to know, how to make the transition from the war zones of Afghanistan to the oil fields of North Dakota.

Since Romeshea and his family moved to Minot, it`s been a fairly smooth transition, especially when it came to employment. Right now, he is working at KS Industries where he works at the safety department out in the energy fields.

He said it’s all thanks to his military background that helped him land this job. "It was a really good transition. My employer identified pretty much right away that those traits that I had, fit right along in with what their jobs included from me."

Romeshea has been working at KS Industries for the past 18 months.
