Minot Police Looking for Suspect in Weekend Break In | Video

Julie Leonardi | 1/7/2013

Minot police got a call Saturday afternoon from a 14-year-old girl who reported a break in at her home. The girl told the police two strange men entered their home at 502 1st St. SE, and assaulted her and her mother. Glen Gillstrap, 47, and Harley Osterlund, 38, were charged with conspiracy to commit burglary. Police are still looking for a third man, Richard Foley, 43, who is wanted on additional charges.

Minot Police Officer, Sergeant Dave Goodman, said this isn`t a random break-in. The men claimed they were looking for their stolen television.

“That`s the case in most of the, or all of the home invasions that I could think of. There was some reason or some connection for the people going to that home, whether it was drug related or in this case, property related,” Goodman said.

Foley is still at large and may be in the area. People are asked to call Minot Police Department if they have any information. Foley is a white male, 5 foot 10 inches tall with brown and grey hair with blue eyes. He also goes by the name Todd.
