Teenage Girl Solicited in Bismarck

Bismarck police say a 15 year old girl wasn`t hurt after getting in the car with an older man who asked her for sexual favors in return for money. It happened in a parking lot on south 3rd Street around 4:20 yesterday afternoon.

Police say the girl was walking home when a white man, about six feet tall and short brown hair, approached her to ask if they could hang out. He offered her a ride home, and she got in the car.

It was a larger, blue-grey sedan with Florida plates. The man said he was going to Minot to work in the oil field. He began asking her what she would do for money, and showed her a large amount of cash.

She asked him to stop the car, and got out. Police say he did not touch the girl or threaten her.
