Businesses in Bismarck are continuing to open, change, and grow and some are also closing. A new extended stay hotel is open in Bismarck. Staybridge Suites held a ribbon cutting ceremony last week to celebrate their grand opening. The hotel has 98 rooms set up for long-term guests.

"All our rooms have full size kitchens. It`s meant to stay with us for a long time and we want it to feel like home for everyone," said general manager Lara Loritz.

She says one reason the hotel chose to open in the capitol city is that Bismarck has a strong market for hotels.

The Lander`s Conoco station on State Street is now Landers Shell. The station changed brands last week. Managers say they are still selling branded gas and think it is a good transition.

A sandwich shop in north Bismarck is no longer open. Sonnets Sandwich Shop made its last sandwich on November 30. The company decided to focus efforts and resources on the growing expansion of Bread Poets in downtown Bismarck.
