Mares Shot and Killed | Video

McKenzie County authorities are looking for whoever shot and killed three horses near Grassy Butte early Sunday. The Kling family raises bucking horses for rodeos, and they say someone killed three of their mares, shooting each of them five to nine times. Each mare was expecting a colt as well. The family says it happened between midnight and 8 a.m. Sunday.

They are offering a reward that is growing as other people have been contributing. Anyone with information should call the McKenzie County Sheriff`s Department at (701) 444-3654.
