Vandals Have a Blast With Snowman

Usually snowmen meet their end when the sun comes out and temperatures rise. But one Bismarck Frosty met his untimely demise last night after an explosion destroyed it. Police say someone called to report a loud explosion on the 1000 block of North 9th Street at 7:20 last night. A white suburban was seen throwing something out the window and leaving the scene. Officers found pieces of black duct tape and sparkler fireworks near the snowman.

The report did not indicate if the snowman was made of snow or plastic.
