Great customer service always goes a long way for business owners. There are days in life that stand out, like your prom or your wedding day, and for Fiancee owner Debbie Harris, she gets to be a part of those special times.

"When my girls are leaving and their brides are leaving and taking off for that day and when that brides takes to that consultant and gives her a hug, that`s the most important than anything," she said.

Harris says customer connections are key and she has no issue going above and beyond for her clients.

"We actually had a gal that was going to prom and one of her grandparents passed away and she couldn`t get to Minot for her fitting so she was gonna call it quits and I was fortunate enough to have somebody in the family who flew me to her house."

For Harris, hard work and dedication has always been her strong suit. Even after 29 years of owning this business, her secret to success was all in the research.

"I did a study on how many weddings there were in Ward County. I did estimates, I met with an SPA gentlemen and went through everything step by step."

At 23, Harris signed a lease and instantly outgrew that location. And with her growing business, She outgrew two more spaces before she found her permanent shop on Main Street.

Fiancee delivers one-of-a kind products coming from Chicago, Minneapolis, New York and even Spain.
