Residents are allowed to park their vehicle or trailer on the streets as long as they have a primary mover attached to it. But it must be moved every 48 hours to avoid a parking ticket.
Officers say they have seen a smaller number of trailers on the streets than last year.
"Actually last year people working on their houses and business places that were in the flood zone. We did have a temporary exemption on the trailer ordinances but that is over and the ordinances as it used to be is now in full affect again," said Larry Haug, Minot PD.
Police recommend keeping all vehicles off the city streets especially during the snow removal season.
