Last Minute Campaigning | Video

Jessica Roose | 11/5/2012

Starting at 7:00 tomorrow morning, voters will being casting their ballots to decide between several candidates and constitutional measures. And the campaigns aren`t slowing down in the final hours.

The energy continues as volunteers at the Ronald Reagan Republican Center make calls to get their message to voters. Republicans aren`t the only ones gearing up for the big day, Democrats were also making calls this afternoon.

This is the first year that Laurie Coleman has volunteered her time to help out a campaign.

"I thought, `I`m not getting any younger, nobody is and if I feel that strong about a candidate I should really go out and do the little bit that I can do,`" she said.

She says it was this year`s senate race between Heidi Heitkamp and Rick Berg that inspired her to help out. Today she`s one of about a hundred volunteers who showed up in Bismarck to make calls on behalf of the Democratic ticket.

"You know the jobs never done and there`s always more people to talk to and more to do in preparation for tomorrow." said ND Dem NPL Communications Director Rania Batrice.

So Coleman and the rest of the volunteers will keep up the momentum for one more day and she says she`ll be back for the next election.

If you still aren`t sure where to vote you can find your polling place online at the Secretary of State`s website.
