Fatal Weekend Crash

The Highway Patrol and the Williams County Sheriff`s Department are investigating a fatal crash that happened over the weekend. It happened Saturday morning on County Road 17, just north of Ray. A pickup driven by a 24 year old Colorado man was going too fast, failed to make a turn and ended up rolling his truck into a ditch. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
