DPI Releases Approved School List

| 10/17/2012

The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction has released their list of school approved for operation for the 2012-13 school year. All schools in the state are required to submit an Annual Compliance Report that says the school is meeting all legal requirements.

"As state superintendent, I have the obligation of notifying parents of students enrolled in a school that does not meet the approval requirements set forth in law. I also encourage parents with students in the non-approved schools to talk to the school administrators. The fact that so few schools are not approved for the 2012-13 school year attests to the high quality of all of our North Dakota schools," said State Superintendent Wayne Sanstead.

Three North Dakota schools were not approved for operation. They are:

- St Anns Catholic School in Belcourt
- Forest River School in Fordville
- Squaw Gap School in Sidney

More information can be found on the Department of Public Instruction website.
