Dickinson Trash Pick Up | Video

The Dickinson Sanitation Department wants to remind residents of its regulations and policies. The population increase has put some strain on solid waste employees and city leaders are asking residents to make sure all trash is put in bags and containers are neat for employees to pick up.

City leaders say this will improve route efficiency and provide a cleaner community.

"If they can be compliant in making sure that their regular trashes are available that it`s full and everything that is get to the side is capable of one person throwing it in, we would appreciate that," said city administrator Shawn Kessel.

The city solid waste department will no also collect oil waste material as well.
