Absentee Voting Begins Today

Some people who vote absentee can start today, North Dakota absentee ballots are now available at local county election offices. North Dakota law requires that the ballots be ready 40 days before the election.

People who`ve made up their minds can fill out absentee ballot applications at their county auditor`s office and vote right now. Applications are also available on the Secretary of State`s website.

In a normal year, more than one-quarter of North Dakota voters mark their ballots before election day.
