Future Careers in ND | Video

Parents of middle and high school students have a new resource for college and career information. Several state groups have partnered to create an e-newsletter, called North Dakota Youth Matters, as a resource for information on high demand careers, scholarships and financial aid.

In addition to the newsletter, people can watch career conversation videos, which offer an in-depth look at several careers. The bi-monthly newsletter, which launched Monday, is designed to give parents more information about future careers.

"The whole purpose behind this newsletter is to get information into the hands of parents. Parents in North Dakota, we want them as informed as possible about all opportunities there are for their children`s careers from a variety of state agencies," said North Dakota Department of Commerce Youth Office Manager Brianna Ludwig.

Some of the state agencies involved include the Department of Commerce, Job Service, the Bank of North Dakota, and the North Dakota University System.
