Bagola to Remain in Jail Until Trial | Video

The man accused of murdering two children on the Spirit Lake reservation last year will remain in jail until his trial. Valentino Bagola, 19, of St. Michael has pleaded not guilty to killing Destiny Shaw, 9, and her brother Travis Dubois Jr., 6.

Their mother found their bodies in their home last year.

Bagola also is accused of sexual abuse and child abuse. He faces the possibility of life in prison if convicted.

His trial is scheduled to start in September.
