More Parking for Bismarck Airport | Video

The Bismarck airport will soon have more places to park. City commissioners approved an engineering agreement this evening with Kadrmas, Lee and Jackson for work on two new parking areas that should begin this summer.

The expanded lots accommodate 325 more vehicles.

"There`s different times of the year when the airport terminal and the parking area is kind of like the church on Easter Sunday," said airport manager Greg Haug.

The new lots are expected to be finished before winter. The airport will then have space for about a thousand vehicles.
