Hosts on the Travel Channel often journey to places like the tropics or Paris. Now, they`re coming to Mandan. Get ready to deck your home or business in red, white and blue. Mandan is one of six finalists in the RAND McNally USA Today contest for the most patriotic town in America.

The contest kicks off on June 15 and will be featured on a show called "Best of the Road."

"There will be some form of reality show where they`ll be traveling with the judges looking at the different attractions and that type of thing," said Mario Anderson with the Mandan Independence Day Committee.

The judges will be here sometime between June 15 and July 12.
