A delegation of state leaders is leaving town tomorrow to learn more about the energy industry. Members will travel to Norway to learn about the country`s growing oil industry. The group will be hosted by the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy and private oil companies.

Participants say the trip is a great opportunity to understand the oil boom here in North Dakota.

"It`s a great opportunity to go to school on somebody that`s been through this, experienced it for the last 20-30 years you know there oil production is off-shore oil the most part, but five times the size of our revenue that were producing at this point," said Bank of North Dakota President Eric Hardmeyer.

The delegation plans to return on June 9.
