Area Teens Win Traffic Safety Contest

Over 85 entries were submitted from students across the state. The winning video, created by Parker, Price and Schmitt, seniors at Hazen High School, is a testimonial of a distracted driver which will be featured in Carmike Movie Theatres across the state and air on television for one week.
Mayer, a sophomore at Bismarck Career Academy, designed the first place billboard with a safety message about teen car crashes. The billboard will be placed across the state.
Each winning entry will receive a $750 cash prize. This is the third year of the contest.
