Alex Hagan | 5/7/2012

The top high school students in southwestern North Dakota were recognized today in Dickinson. KQCD-TV honored them for their academic achievements at the annual Best of the Class luncheon.

Winners talked about what what college they will be attending next year. While it`s sometimes difficult to say goodbye to high school, students are already looking forward to the future.

"I`m planning on studying civil engineering at least that`s what I`m going to start off as. Civil engineering is something I`m really interested in just seeing the growth of North Dakota from the population and stuff," said Taylor Boster.

"I plan to pursue a double major in natural resources and criminal justice you know working at the park system, maybe being a game warden, let the chips fall where they may," said Kyle Boster.

During May and June, KQCD-TV will air a series of television spots featuring the honor students.
