| It was fitting and ironic that Friday the Minot area broke a record high temperature of 75 degrees. One year ago to the day Minot and the rest of the region was hit with 9 inches of snow. It was the start of a long and unforgiving winter. Mike Schmaltz of Tires Plus says that if you wait to get yourself ready for the first snow storm, it may be too late. If your car isn`t ready for a winter storm, it could be dangerous when you take a trip in cold weather. "Please don`t wait. Get in. Get your car checked. We`ll check everything. Even things that are hard to miss," says Schmaltz of Tires Plus. Schamltz also says that if you want to get a automatic car starter, this is the time to do so. |
