A car crashed through the front of a restaurant in Malden Tuesday, putting customers in the path of danger.
Police said the car jumped the curb and plowed through the front windows of the Boston Market on Center Street just after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The car narrowly missed a customer who was eating by the windows; however, another customer was not as lucky. A man who was walking through the front door was hit by shattered glass and went to Massachusetts General Hospital with minor cuts.
"They put him on the stretcher like he had some cut marks on his face cause of the glass," said Luiz Lopes, who works in the shopping center.
The driver, who is believed to be in her 60s, and her passenger, who police said was her son, were not injured.
Police are not releasing the name of the driver and said she is not facing charges at this time. They are still investigating to see how she hopped the curb and went into the restaurant.
