| Snow and ice may keep you indoors but runners and cyclists have a bunch of videos that they can play to take them through the paces of a health-club style workout in their own homes. With a bike trainer or some indoor rollers for your road bike, a lot of people are pedaling away in their homes and getting expert coaching help right from in front of their TVs. This outfit offers what they call epic rides on DVD from Florida, Vermont and Arizona, virtual rides that you watch on TV or even an iPhone. Same things with a series of bike training videos called "Spinervals" from a guy named "Coach Troy". There are spinning classes and virtual rides. You pedal your bike in the living room while the screen shows you triathlon courses and famous mountain rides. Coach Troy also has "Runervals", the same thing for treadmill runners. So weather`s no excuse to miss your workout. |
