Legislative Process Training
DATES:	2/19/2013 to 2/19/2013
	The Arc of Bismarck is sponsoring two workshops about the state legislative process. Participants may choose to attend from 9 AM-noon or 1-4 PM and lunch will be provided at noon for both sessions. Stipends are available for travel, meals and other needed supports. Participants will learn how the legislative process works, who their legislators are and how to contact them, ways to access legislative information and tips for effectively communicating with legislators. These events are an opportunity for citizens to network with others who share an interest in disability-related legislation. Community members with disabilities and their allies, as well as the general public are encouraged to attend.
