| The Bismarck Mandan Safety Council, along with its sponsoring partners, will be conducting its 5th Annual Bike Rodeo Event on May 17th 2012 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. This year’s location will be at the Burleigh County Extension-NDSU Office located at 3715 East Bismarck Expressway (Across from the Game & Fish Department) Bismarck ND. The Bike Rodeo event will host a variety of bike safety awareness booths for parents & children. There will be several stations at the event which will include bike helmet fitting, which will have a limited number of helmets available for people that don’t have a helmet or if theirs do not fit, rules of the road for bikers, bike safety inspection, bike riding obstacle course. Register to win two bikes that will be given away. Parents are reminded to bring your child’s bikes, with their helmets to this event. In case of bad weather, the obstacle course will be held in the indoor arena. Holding this event should remind everyone of the importance of wearing a bike helmet and practicing good safe bicycle safety to parents and children in the Bismarck-Mandan community.
