I first started at KFYR-TV in 1978 as a news photographer. After ten years, I decided to try my hand at something else and started working in retail. But in 1999, I realized I missed the job, the people and the creativity of news photography. So, in December of 1999 I returned to KFYR and my dream job.
I am a native North Dakotan and a graduate of Bismarck High School. I am married to Sid and have two grown daughters and three grandchildren who I love to spoil! My grandkids seem to consume all of my extra time and money.
